As Director of Development, JoEllen is responsible for directing all activities of the pre-development and development phases including entitlements, design development and permitting, and managing consultants.

Prior to LV, JoEllen served as Vice President of Development for Millcreek Residential leading the execution of the Austin new development pipeline. She also previously served as Director of Development at Pearlstone Partners where she led development efforts for condo and mixed-use projects in downtown Austin and was instrumental in their rapid portfolio growth. She has worked for several of the nation’s leading multifamily development firms including tenures at Hanover Company and Streetlights Residential and has also worked on the project controls and program management of several large city development and HUD community development projects.

JoEllen serves on the Board of CREW Austin and is actively involved in several mentoring programs that encourage high school and university females in real estate and STEM fields of study. She is also a member of RECA and ULI and serves with several local non-profit organizations.

JoEllen holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architectural Studies, and a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

JoEllen lives in South Austin with her husband, their three daughters, and their sheepadoodle. Outside of work hours, she can be found coaching volleyball, enjoying the beautiful parks and lakes of Austin with her family, or moonlighting as a Production Manager.
