John Henry’s financial acumen and deep experience in the commercial real estate industry ensure that LV Collective makes solid, data-driven investment decisions.

As Director of Acquisitions, John Henry leads LV’s efforts in sourcing and development site selection for the LV Multifamily team. He underwrites acquisitions of both existing assets and ground-up development with a focus on multifamily nationwide.

Born in Austin and a downtown resident for many years, John Henry has enjoyed sourcing, underwriting, running due diligence and closing on numerous projects in Austin’s downtown. In addition to sourcing, he works with the Investments team throughout the entire development process through stabilization and sale.

John Henry has been focused on real estate since he got his real estate license in 2011. Prior to joining LV, John Henry worked on the Investment Team for an Austin-based real estate investment and development firm, where he worked on the development of multiple Class A Institutional Office developments. John Henry managed lease up and various capital events such as refinancing and dispositions. Previously he worked at Phoenix Property Company (PPC), a developer of luxury Class A institutional multifamily and office nationwide after starting his career in JPMorgan’s Real Estate Banking Group where he underwrote and closed over $2 Billion in transactions across all asset classes focusing on the large core projects in JPM’s The South Region.

John Henry earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a native Austinite, loves traveling, and spending time on the lake.
