The Project
Rambler College Park is a multi-use residential property located in College Park, Maryland. The project is conveniently located in less than a 4-minute walk from the University of Maryland. The 320,000-square-foot project consists of 288 units and 1,003 beds. Rambler will offer a variety of amenities, designed specifically with the College Park community and lifestyle in mind. This development will feature dedicated coworking spaces with 13 private study rooms, internal courtyards, fitness facilities, a yoga studio, a fitness-on-demand room, a sauna, a hot tub, cabanas and a resident lounge. The project is centered around its convenience to campus, providing residents with short commutes to class, direct access to retail stores and fostering a sense of community for the College Park residents. The property is also planned to feature 15,903 square feet of retail space, including UMD students’ favorites, like Taqueria Habañero.

The atmosphere is felt upon entering the building; the main lobby welcomes residents with high ceilings, neutral wood tones, ambient lighting and layered patterns and textures. Directly off the lobby, there is Daydreamer Coffee which offers an open environment as the bar wraps around, bringing a buzz of energy to the café environment. This provides a high level of convenience for those who need to fuel their study sessions, and at Rambler there is plenty of space to concentrate. There are private study rooms, open seating and additional areas intended to support and reinforce focus and productivity.
For those who enjoy being active, Rambler is home to a variety of active spaces, from a yoga studio to the fitness room and multisport simulator, there is an option for everyone. The design aligns with the feel of Rambler, offering a peaceful space for all kinds of activity and movement.
The club room was developed to encourage collaboration, whether you’re spending time with friends or hosting a study session during exam season, Rambler has you covered. On the same floor, two courtyards invite residents to enjoy their free time by relaxing in the hot tub with a Jumbotron for game days, gathering with friends to grill dinner or unwinding beneath the cabanas.

Embracing College Park’s natural surroundings and neighborhood character, Rambler’s interior welcomes an earthy and rustic feel. Organic materials, wood and elevated patterns are paired with soothing hues of green and red to foster spaces that feel grounded and exude comfort.
