With a rich and varied experience in architecture, Mauricio brings a unique perspective and expertise to every project he undertakes at LV.

As a Development Manager, Mauricio takes the lead management role on multiple projects in our student pipeline and helps our development team with best practice initiatives informing and refining our overall approach.

Prior to joining LV, Mauricio worked as a Studio Director and Senior Project Architect for Storybuilt. In these roles, he worked closely with the design and development team leaders to establish and oversee project schedules, priorities, and staffing. He also oversaw the one of the largest and most complex projects in the office with multiple buildings, uses and construction types.

Mauricio earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and his Master of Architecture from the University of Houston in Houston, TX.

Mauricio is an avid golf, tennis, and soccer enthusiast. He moved to Texas from Colombia in 2011, where he still visits at least once a year.
