As a Director of Acquisitions at LV Collective, Colton plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing student housing acquisitions. He leads underwriting efforts and supports deal origination, ensuring each investment aligns with LV’s strategic vision.

Before joining LV, Colton was an Assistant Vice President at Urban Moment Development, where he managed land acquisitions, debt formation, and asset management for build-to-rent developments. Overseeing a portfolio of 2,000+ units, he successfully secured and closed over $250 million in loans while sourcing and evaluating development sites across Texas. Prior to that, he spent five years at Virtus Real Estate Capital as an Associate, where he gained broad investment and asset management experience across senior living, student housing, multifamily, and education sectors. There, he managed a nationwide senior living portfolio of 30+ assets, assisted in overseeing student housing properties, and contributed to more than $150 million in transaction volume.

Colton earned his BBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. A lifelong Texan, he now calls Austin home, where he lives with his wife and their two energetic Australian Shepherds. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and cheering on the Longhorns.
