As Executive Vice President of Acquisitions, Christopher Kott oversees the strategic growth of LV Collective’s student housing portfolio, leading the identification and execution of high-impact investment opportunities. With deep expertise in multifamily and student housing, he brings a sharp investment lens and market-driven strategy to LV’s continued expansion.

Christopher brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, previously serving as the Managing Director of Acquisitions and Investment Committee member at Virtus Real Estate Capital. There, he was responsible for developing the firm’s student housing and multifamily strategy, sourcing and executing investment opportunities, and managing all aspects of underwriting, market research, due diligence and closing. Prior to Virtus, Christopher was an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  

Christopher holds a B.A. in Finance from North Carolina State. During his free time, Christopher and his wife, Lauren enjoy spending time outside with their goldendoodle, Sunny.
