AUSTIN, Texas – January 24, 2023 – LV Collective, an Austin-based student-oriented and multifamily real estate developer, announces the promotion of Jonathan Reyes to president of student housing.
The former executive vice president of acquisitions has been with the company since April of 2021 and is now focusing on the operational, asset management and capital markets aspects of LV’s student housing platform.
“Student housing is a key part of the work we do at LV, and no one is more deserving and qualified to serve as president of our student housing division than Jonathan,” said LV Collective CEO, David Kanne. “His industry expertise complements our focus and our plans for current and future developments.”
Reyes has worked in the student housing industry for more than a decade. Prior to his work at LV, he served as director of acquisitions for Nimes Real Estate, leading the firm’s student housing acquisitions platform. Jonathan has also held leadership roles at Harrison Street and American Campus Communities, serving as a key member of their acquisitions and capital markets teams.
“As LV executes on a $3.5 billion+ student housing development pipeline, Jonathan’s leadership will allow us to build on our success and expand our vision and execution of experience-based student housing,” said LV Collective CIO, Francisco Rios.
