Athens, GA – March 13, 2025 – Rambler Athens is excited to announce Meltwich has signed a retail lease at the property. Meltwich joins the existing Daydreamer Cafe, further enhancing the vibrant retail mix at Rambler Athens.
Meltwich, a Canadian-based fast-casual sandwich chain, has secured a 1,606-square-foot space on the northeast corner of the building along Reese Street. Known for its gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, and modern comfort food, Meltwich has been expanding its presence, with its first U.S. location recently opened in Houston, Texas. The Athens location is anticipated to open in Fall 2025, offering residents and visitors a quick and convenient dining option.
Rambler Athens is a premier mixed-use development located at 558 W. Broad St., ideally located near downtown Athens and the University of Georgia campus. The student housing property has over 700 residents on-site and is walking distance from UGA campus and the surrounding off-campus housing districts in downtown Athens and along Milledge Avenue.
