As President of Multifamily for LV Collective, Alex defines and executes the firm’s multifamily platform, overseeing strategy, development, capital markets, operations, and asset management.

Alex has worked in commercial real estate for over a decade, most recently as a Director for Greystar Development and Construction Services. In that role, he led site selection, underwriting, capitalization, and execution of development projects across Central Texas. Alex oversaw a development portfolio exceeding $500 million, spanning various asset types including multifamily, student housing, active adult, build-to-rent, industrial, and office.

In a previous role at Greystar, Alex worked closely with Greystar’s founder and leadership team on multiple global strategic initiatives. He was a major contributor in leading and creating a new rental housing vertical in partnership with Airbnb to provide more flexible living solutions to renters globally. Prior to that, Alex worked in Greystar’s Capital Markets division, where he played a key role in domestic financing efforts. He led and participated in $4.65 billion in total financing activity, including originating nearly $1 billion in single-asset financing along with assembling $2.99 billion in financing that was used to acquire Education Realty Trust Inc.

Alex’s expertise is further highlighted by his involvement in the University of Texas Real Estate Center, where he sits on the Advisory Council, advising on program strategy, curriculum design, and providing career advice to students. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Real Estate Council of Austin.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
