As an Interiors + Curations Intern, Ava assists with installations and styling of FF&E, facilitates purchasing and tracking of FF&E, performs site walks, coordinates with third-party vendors, improves the organization of the materials library, and works on formulating and implementing the Interiors & Curation Ambassadorship program across properties.
Ava is also a Communications and Programs Intern for Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT). She plans recreational and social programming to engage with members, evaluates programs, and captures social media content.
Previously, Ava worked at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio, TX, as a Property Management and Marketing Intern. She reviewed leases, conducted property inventories, developed Pearl merchandise, researched event software, and assisted with social media. She was also a Leasing Agent for Moontower in Austin, TX.
Ava is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin with an expected graduation of May 2026.
At UT Austin, Ava serves as the Principal Events Coordinator for Hook’d Magazine, a student-led fashion and lifestyle publication where she leads the social events for the organization, including Hook’d Magazine’s annual fashion show. She is also a brand ambassador for several companies, including Steve Madden, American Eagle, Guayakí Yerba Mate, and more.
In her free time, you’ll find Ava exploring the food scene in downtown Austin or taking her puppy, Cowboy, on walks around the city.
