As Chief Investment Officer, Francisco Rios is responsible for overseeing the student and multifamily development and acquisition platforms, directing our strategies and setting the initiatives to lead to the expansion of LV Collective’s portfolio nationwide. As a key member of the executive team, Francisco works with the firm’s key leaders to establish corporate priorities, growth strategies, and companywide initiatives.

Prior to LV Francisco was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at a global real estate investment management firm, leading and managing deal teams from sourcing through execution of 22 ground-up developments totaling approximately 11,297 beds with a capitalization of approximately two billion. He was also instrumental in assisting with initiatives to expand equity relationships across the institutional capital space over his tenure. He previously also served as Vice President of Investments, including the expansion of strategy across Asia and South America at Jaguar Growth Partners, a global investment management firm focused on real estate private and public equity in developing and developed markets. In this role, he managed a pipeline of real estate deals across multifamily, industrial, and healthcare sectors. Prior to Jaguar Growth Partners, Francisco was a Private Equity Associate at Citi Private Equity and Mezzanine Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citi in New York, collectively completing over six billion in transaction volume.

Francisco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, from the University of Chicago and an Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
