As Senior Vice President of Land Acquisitions, Rodney leads the creation and execution of LV’s land acquisition strategy for the student housing pipeline.

Before joining LV, Rodney served as Senior Vice President of Student Housing at Portman Holdings, where he launched and led the company’s entry into the student housing sector. Previously, he was Managing Director of Acquisitions at Core Spaces, overseeing acquisition strategy and execution for one of the nation’s leading student housing developers.

Rodney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Memphis and an MBA with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance from Belhaven University.

Rodney is married and a proud father of two—one a college freshman and the other a high school junior. A lifelong sports fan, he enjoys following the San Francisco 49ers and cheering them on each season.
