PHOENIX – July 23, 2024 – Moontower, a luxury multifamily property located in the Roosevelt Row Arts District in Downtown Phoenix, is excited to welcome back two notable artists, Chloe Huls and Sam Opoku, for the second year of its Artist-in-Residence program.
Chloe Huls, a photographer, and Sam Opoku, an Afro soul/R&B artist, have already made a lasting impression on the Moontower community and furthered their artistic pursuits during the first year of their residencies. This year, Chloe debuted her first solo gallery exhibition, Ojitos, and expanded her business to sell fine art prints. Sam released five new songs, filmed music videos within Moontower’s amenity spaces, and grew his Instagram following to over 100,000. Both artists also hosted multiple community events, including a film portrait photography session, a Taste of Africa event, and an artist showcase on the rooftop. They are eager to continue their engagement and strengthen the community.
In its inaugural year, the Artist Residence program provided seven artists with free rent in exchange for activating Moontower, hosting community events, and promoting the property on social media. The success of the program contributed to Moontower being named Costar’s Multifamily Development of the Year for Phoenix.
