AUSTIN, TEXAS, Sept. 24, 2021 — Lincoln Ventures, a national real estate developer focused on multifamily and student housing, was honored with two Innovator Awards for its Moontower project, including the prestigious title of Best New Development with more than 400 Beds and Best Interior Design. The 11th Annual Innovator Awards were presented during the InterFace Student Housing Conference in Austin, Texas hosted by Student Housing Business magazine.
Lincoln Ventures’ Moontower project, a 166-unit, 567-bed student housing development located in Austin, Texas took home the evening’s top prize, Best New Development with more than 400 beds. Moontower’s differentiated amenities offering prime location and design set it apart from its competition.
In the 2020-2021 leasing season, Moontower led the charge in off-campus leasing at the University of Texas at Austin, claiming the title of first property to hit 100% occupancy, recognizing it as a premier asset in the West Campus submarket.

Moontower was also awarded Best Interior design, a category new to the competition this year. Designed by Chelsea Kloss, Lincoln Ventures’ Director of Interiors + Curation, Moontower introduced an elevated level of design significantly differentiated from the competitive set in West Campus. Key differentiators include common areas that take design inspiration from high-end hotels and restaurants, unique identities rom one space to another, art from local creators to provide an authentic Austin experience, and a customized Moontower scent.

The Innovator Awards honor student housing owners, developers, operators, architecture firms and universities for excellence in student housing development, marketing and operations. More than 100 industry experts judged more than 140 entries in this year’s contest — the largest number of submissions to date.
